PMO Analyst - Contract - 6 months to 24 months - Up to £550 per day


Reporting to the Head of Programme Management and Delivery we are looking for an experienced PMO Analyst


The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of project delivery processes and the strategic value they bring to the organisation, backed by a proven track record of implementing and managing these processes.


A Strong understanding and practical application of project management principles, including

Agile methodologies.


Experience supporting Agile project delivery methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.


Knowledge of fiscal planning and budget management as it pertains to project execution.


Experience in developing and presenting business cases to justify project initiation


Demonstrable experience in providing tangible support to programme and project managers, helping them effectively articulate the story of our projects and programmes and above all, to help them deliver successfully


Demonstrates strategic thinking by aligning project management tasks with business objectives and can articulate the value of project delivery processes to various stakeholders.


Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a track record of translating strategy into action.


Demonstrated ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely and to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.


Promote a flexible and pragmatic approach to project delivery while maintaining alignment with strategic goals.


Participate in fiscal planning processes associated with project delivery, including budget forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis.


Assist in the development of robust business cases that underpin each project's strategic value, viability, and expected return on investment.


Coordinate contract management activities, ensuring that all project contracts meet company standards and address project needs.


Work closely with project teams to understand and address root causes of issues, rather than simply distributing templates or focusing on paperwork.


Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, growth, and collaboration.


Advocate for efficient, meaningful reporting and documentation.


Engage in change management initiatives, ensuring they are well-understood and adopted by relevant stakeholders.


Engage effectively with stakeholders across the organisation, providing context and clarity for project requirements and requests.


Oversee and manage portfolio and project status reporting at various levels within the organisation.
