    A leading Housing Association based in Surrey are looking to recruit a Business Analyst on a permanent basis. This role is paying up to £47,000 per annum + an excellent benefits package.


    This organisation is going through a significant period of change, and have developed a new robust IT strategy. Within this, there is commitment to reduce the number of different IT Systems currently being used. This role will be key in ensuring that this is achieved. The core responsibility being to conduct analysis and identify opportunities for improving business systems and processes.


    The specific duties of this role will include:


    *Plan and organise business process re-engineering/improvement projects.


    *Identify opportunities for improving business processes through the use of technology and to assist in the preparation of business cases.


    *Consult with the business units to define and document business requirements.


    *Analyse the feasibility of, and develop requirements for, new systems and/or enhancements to existing systems ensuring that the system design fits the user needs.


    *Track and fully document changes for functional and business specifications for use in the development, testing and training project cycles.


    *Conduct impact analysis to assess implications of any changes to the systems.


    *Support testing and training project cycles.


    *Document business processes.


    *To lead on the design, development and production of KPI and PI reports linked to key areas of the business.


    *To lead on all benchmarking activity that compares organisational performance against other registered providers including all annual returns of data.


    *To periodically check that all implemented systems are being used correctly and that accurate data is being inputted.


    *To design and create reports from central management systems that provides insight for various audiences within the organisation.


    *To actively reduce systems to drive all data entry through and report from a single system.


    The successful candidate will have previous experience of working as a Business Analyst using methodologies including process mapping, data flows and re-engineering. You will also have a strong understanding of a project's lifecycle and be confident in analysing and translating user requirements into detailed technical documentation. As well as this, you will have exposure in diagnosing and resolving technical issues and formulate innovative solutions and have a proven experience of understanding business processes and how they align to the IT Strategy, identifying where business improvements can be made


    Key Technologies


    You will be proficient in the use of Excel and use various reporting engines including, SQL server reporting services (SSRS) to manage data, and have familiarity with the fundamentals of programming.
