    Our client, a government regulator, is looking for a Digital Communications Manager to ensure the organisations digital services meet the needs of the users. You will be joining a fantastic team within an established government body.


    Responsibilities:


    *Support the service managers, ensuring that their service meets the performance requirements set out in the digital by default service standard


    *Work closely with digital teams in other organisations to ensure digital channels and services meet current and future standards, leading the digital assurance and controls process and ensuring effective governance of this


    *Underpin the delivery and iteration of digital services through effective analysis of qualitative and quantitative user data


    *Support the procurement of the necessary digital platforms to support automated and real-time collection and presentation of data


    *Provide digital service recommendations and improvements based on quantitative and qualitative evidence.


    *Act as an advocate for user needs within the agency


    *Build effective virtual networks across the agency and working with colleagues to help deliver the digital service transformation strategy


    Experience required:


    *Extensive knowledge and experience of working in a busy digital environment in a large, complex, expert organisation, including strategic content planning and evaluation, to deliver business objectives and enhance reputation.


    *Experience of providing performance analysis and recommendations on digital services through analysis, web analytics and visualisation tools.


    *Excellent knowledge and understanding of current and emerging digital technologies and how they can be practically and effectively used, together with knowledge of the GDS digital assurance processes.


    *Excellent written, editorial, social media engagement and oral communications skills with a strong, proven understanding of digital service delivery.


    *Excellent internal and external relationship management skills, with ability to develop good working relationships and influence social media influencers and senior managers, dealing with conflict and challenge in a calm, measured way.


    *Strong planning, project and time management skills, with ability to work on own initiative and problem solve, and prioritise own work according to changing business needs.
