Accounting Principles is currently seeking to fill an Operational Buyer role here in Winter Garden, FL for a large food service company. Candidates with 3 or more years' experience in supporting logistics team, controlling purchase agreements, preparing budgets and providing additional support to management will be considered. This role has great potential for growth, along with working for a dedicated and diverse team.


This specific position requires a high attention to detail, while administering office communications, outgoing deliveries, company record keeping policies, and contributing to a professional work environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Category managers with the selection of the right product per business
  • Watch stock relating to business opportunities
  • Purchase raw materials
  • Working closely with planning team to ensure stock optimization
  • Negotiating with vendors and building positive, long-term relationships
  • Researching, recommending and expending suppliers base
  • Preparing budgets and forecasting purchasing trends
  • Compiling reports on product performance and statistics
  • Support sales & logistics support team

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Logistics or Business or additional experience of education
  • Three or more years' experience in raw materials sourcing & supply chain knowledge
  • Knowledge of ERP system (SAP business 1 - ideal), Microsoft Office suite
  • Languages: English, Spanish (advantage)

  • Other Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability multi-task and perform under deadlines
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
  • Team player mentality, highly motivated, and people-oriented personality

  • Employment Type:

  • Consultant to Hire
  • Onsite position
  • Full-Time (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

  • Compensation:

  • $55,000-65,000/yr USD
