SUMMARY


Responsible for the organization's learning and development strategy, which includes initiatives that emphasize thought leadership, culture, diversity, equality, and inclusion. AMT learning and development initiatives and programs are managed by this position, which includes the design, development, implementation, and evaluation.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaboration with key business unit leaders and subject matter experts to assess and determine training and development requirements, then transform these requirements into training programs and services that are customized to their unique needs.
  • Carries out an analysis of capacity and skill needs to identify opportunities to improve performance and build scalable, highly effective blended learning plans and experiences, such as online, self-paced microlearning, coaching and on-the job performance support tools.
  • Create learning materials for the company, such as programs to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEQI).
  • Prepare and/or deliver cutting-edge leadership and development programs that are both innovative and interactive.
  • Maintain data and analytics to track progress while also generating insights that may be utilized to drive changes in order to achieve continual improvement.
  • To enhance return on investment (ROI), build skillsets, and increase efficiency, you must manage the Learning and Development budget, negotiate contracts, and optimize L&D projects and programs.
  • Application of instructional design and adult learning theory skills to the creation and implementation of new learning programs in a successful way
  • Examples of facilitation aids that may be chosen or generated include training handbooks for instructors, demonstration models for students, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.
  • Provider-provided training choices for your company should be identified and evaluated. Identify and evaluate external training programs to see whether they are practical and appropriate. It is critical to maintain working relationships with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documents on hand, and ensure that they are kept up to date.
  • To assist students in succeeding in their studies, multimedia technology, eLearning, and electronic performance assistance should be used in conjunction with other learning strategies.

  • QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Education, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in organizational learning and development
  • Preferably, prior experience in the design and development of e-learning courses Knowledge, skills, and abilities include the following:
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful training programs
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and consulting abilities are required, as is the ability to work independently and collaboratively at all levels of the organization and with team members.

  • Demonstrated skills in training delivery; excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • The ability to present written information and ideas in a clear, concise, and organized manner; the ability to adjust style and format in order to address the needs, concerns, and priorities of the audience.
  • Remote work options: Remote to hybrid. Willing to come in when needed. Need to be local.
  • Vaccination Policy: Surveys everyone to see if vaccinated although not required. Weekly covid testing in office.
