Accounting Principals is working with a small financial technology company in downtown San Francisco looking for a Staff Accountant who is able to work a fully remote schedule now and then transition to the office full time eventually. This company has a great culture and even better opportunities for growth as the company rapidly grown over the past years!!



Responsibilities

  • Assist with month-end close – amortize prepaid expenses, depreciate fixed assets, maintain and reconcile GL subledgers, etc.
  • Enter all vendor invoices into accounting system, review appropriate documentation, ensure correct coding of expenses, and facilitate invoice approval and payment
  • Maintain third-party expense platform – add and suspend users, add new projects, train new employees on usage of the system, update expense categories and compliance rules
  • Review and process employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company T&E policy



    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2- 3 years in accounting
  • Experience with Intacct, NetSuite or Concur preferred


    • Skills

  • Strong communicator
  • Skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
  • Great attention to detail


    • Employment Type

  • Direct Hire


    • Pay Rate

  • $70,000- $80,000 depending on experience and offers a bonus!!
