Revenue Cycle Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for a Revenue Cycle Analyst for our client in San Diego, CA. This will be a contract opportunity and 100% onsite during the contract tenure.


This role will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring our client’s revenue cycle activities, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize revenue and increase cash flow. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations, healthcare billing and coding, and be able to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure effective revenue cycle management.


Responsibilities



  • Analyze revenue cycle performance metrics, identify trends and recommend areas for improvement


  • Monitor billing and coding compliance with regulatory requirements and recommend solutions to ensure adherence to regulations


  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize revenue and cash flow


  • Conduct audits to ensure revenue cycle data accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures


  • Collaborate with various departments including Finance, Clinical Operations, and IT to ensure seamless revenue cycle management


  • Identify areas for cost reduction and revenue optimization and develop recommendations for process improvements


  • Provide education and training to staff on revenue cycle policies and procedures


  • Prepare and present reports on revenue cycle performance to management


Skills



  • Proven ability to productively lead and develop a team, deliver feedback constructively, and boost overall team morale


  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail


  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, billing regulations, and compliance


  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with various departments and stakeholders


  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements


  • Ability to adapt in an ever-changing enviornment and handle high pressure deadlines


  • Past revenue cycle experience is required


Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or similar required


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing/coding, and/or revenue analyst required


  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, required


  • Experience with EMR software systems required

Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 PER HOUR
