Human Resources Specialist

LHH is seeking a qualified Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Mission Valley, San Diego. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's human resources functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes. This position requires a minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in human resources.

1. 
   

   Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations

2. 
   

   Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries related to benefits, leave policies, and other HR-related matters

3. 
   

   Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, HR databases, and other relevant documentation

4. 
   

   Assist in the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures

5. 
   

   Coordinate employee training and development programs

6. 
   

   Conduct employee orientations and assist in onboarding new hires

7. 
   

   Assist with performance management processes, including conducting performance reviews and providing guidance to managers and employees

8. 
   

   Support HR initiatives and projects as needed

Qualifications:

1. 
   

   Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

2. 
   

   Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in human resources

3. 
   

   Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations

4. 
   

   Strong organizational and time management skills

5. 
   

   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

6. 
   

   Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

7. 
   

   Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion

Salary Range: $20.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience Job Details:

1. 
   

   Monday- Friday

2. 
   

   8:00am-5:00pm PST

3. 
   

   Onsite, Full-time, Contract to hire role
