Loan Officer I, II, III


Accounting Principals is searching for experienced Loan Officer for a well established Banking Insitution in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate comes with at least 2 year experience in an underwriting role or has held various roles from Loan Origination to Processing to minimum 6 months Underwriting or an equivalent industry recognized Underwriting course. This position is client facing and will involve walking the potential borrower through the entire loan process from application through underwriting.


Responsibilities:

  • Make initial contact and follow up with potential clients
  • Serve as an ongoing point of contact for clients, helping them collect required information and complete any necessary documents throughout the loan process
  • Assist and coordinate internal and external parties involved in the loan application process, including institution internal employees, dealership representitves, and realtors
  • Gather information for new loan underwriting, including credit reports, tax filings, business entity searches, and title work
  • Ensure loan documentation complies with federal and state requirements
  • Manage closing paperwork and ensure proper filing
  • Review delinquent accounts and attempt to collect debts
  • Perform general office administration duties

    • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 year experience in loan underwriting role preferably in the mortgage/financial services industry or held various roles from Loan Origination to Processing to minimum 6 months Underwriting or an equivalent industry recognized Underwriting course
  • Proficiency with ten key adding machine, calculator and Microsoft Office products
  • Thrives in a deadline-driven environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent

    • Schedule/Jobsite:


    Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, 100% Onsite


    Pay:


    $32,240-55,660 base salary, sonummate on experience
