LHH is now hiring a talented Cyber Security Resource Consultant to contribute to our operational modernization efforts. This will align diverse business and technological needs for the years ahead, resulting in a series of complex and interconnected projects that demand integrated technical designs and collaboration with various business stakeholders.

The anticpated pay range for this opportunity is between $50 and $65 per hour


Scope:


As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will play a crucial role in shaping the success of this initiative. Your responsibilities will include:


Reviewing new solutions using the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Cyber Security Framework (CSF) to ensure security risks are identified and addressed.


Collaborating with vendors and the NW Natural Compliance Team to complete Third-Party Information Security Assessments (TISAs).


Integrating new solutions into our existing environment, following our policies, standards, and industry best security practices.


Consulting on impacts to relevant regulations and directives, including TSA Security Directive Pipeline-2021-02D (SD-02D).


Advising on security tools and technologies, including Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).


Creating essential documentation and artifacts.


Participating in validation sessions, stand-ups, working sessions, and routine communications.


Deliverables:


Your contributions will encompass:


Security Design Review, including vulnerability scans and associated remediations.


Third-Party Information Security Assessment (TISA) documentation.


Architectural and Technical Review Boards (ARB, TRB).


Change Management Review Board (CMRB) and Change Advisory Board (CAB) documentation.


Assessment of products and implementation plans.


Operationalization of chosen technologies, including procedure development.


Consultation with project teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional departments.


To excel in this role, you should possess:


8+ years of practical information security experience.


4+ years of Operational Technology (OT) experience.


Proficiency in networking security concepts in geographically dispersed setups.


Proven cross-functional team collaboration skills.


Expertise in cyber security assessments.


Relevant cybersecurity and technology certifications (a plus).


Demonstrated success in working within remote teams.


Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.


Location: Remote (Pacific time)


Duration of assignment: open ended contract


Hours per week: 40

Pay Details: $50.00 to $65.00 PER HOUR
