Financial Clearance Representative


Ajilon is seeking a Financial Clearance Representative to join a growing team! There are three immediate openings with one of our favorite Healthcare clients in the industry. The purpose of the role is to verify that the patients' insurance information is accurate and up to date so payment can be received for services rendered.


Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient insurance, confirming benefits eligibility.
  • Performing notification of admissions to payers and or notifying third party coverage providers.
  • Submit requests for authorizations for hospital admissions.
  • Review medical records to obtain different information.

  • Experience:

  • 1-2 years of Customer Service in the Healthcare industry.
  • background in managed care or patient billing.
  • Must have one year of verifying insurance or pre-certification experience.
  • Medical terminology, insurance vocabulary, and understanding the impact financial services have on the revenue cycle operations is a PLUS!

  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
