Ajilon is aiming to fill a Buyer/Production Planner position in New Berlin, WI. This company is looking for an experienced candidate who possesses leadership skills, software proficiency and has a teamwork-oriented personality. This role is extremely flexible with great benefits.


Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on open orders to expedite and ensure on-time delivery Negotiate and implement purchase contracts for assigned commodities and suppliers. Evaluate and recommend new sources of supply for additional/alternative options for critical materials, tooling, or services. Lead supplier-related activity involving new product development, value analysis, product improvement, and cost-reduction efforts. Use supplier-performance reports and related policies/procedures to select, maintain, and terminate suppliers, and help to create a robust approved supplier list.

    • Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to work with a team on a day to day basis
  • Prior experience within a distribution or manufacturing company that has a high-level volume
  • Any experience with both domestic and international companies is a plus!
