LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled Buyer. The Buyer will play a pivotal role in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring high-quality goods and services for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful vendor management and cost optimization.


Responsibilities:



  • Source and select suppliers/vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery speed.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate the organization's procurement needs.


  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and trends in the industry.


  • Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or delivery.


  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to order placement and receipt of goods.


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.


  • Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues such as delivery delays, quality discrepancies, or supply shortages.


  • Evaluate and assess supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.


  • Stay informed about market trends, industry best practices, and technological advancements related to procurement.


  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations in all procurement activities.


  • Work closely with the logistics and inventory teams to manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain efficiency.


  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the procurement process and contribute to overall organizational goals.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.


  • 2+ years of experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Agent, or in a similar procurement role.


  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.


  • Excellent analytical skills to assess supplier capabilities, market trends, and pricing strategies.


  • Proficient in using procurement software and tools to manage purchasing activities (e.g., ERP systems, e-procurement platforms).


  • Solid understanding of supply chain management concepts and best practices.


  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.


  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.


  • Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CIPS) is a plus.
