Position: Process Improvement Specialist
Salary: 80K-100K
Location: Farmingdale, NY. Full time on-site.

Summary: The Process Improvement Specialist will work closely with the Operations, Quality Assurance, Production and Supply Chain teams to drive business results through identifying inefficiencies in processes and implements improvements that solve process-related problems.
Responsibilities:
Drive business results through continuous refinement of the supply and production process by applying lean principles and best practices.
Monitor and analyze process data to provide information to the process owners related to corrections and opportunities for improvement and works with process owners to implement needed actions.
Lead problem solving sessions with cross functional teams and perform overall quality control of these improvement projects (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
Collaborate with departmental leaders to define, implement, and monitor necessary metrics and score cards to drive the day-to-day fulfillment processes.
Challenge current processes driven towards fulfilling the market requirements in terms of delivery time commitments, quality, fill rate and efficiency.
Lead by example in applying and coaching LEAN principles and methodologies (5S, Kaizen, DMAIC, etc.).
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in fulfillment processes including logistics, materials management, order fulfillment in a manufacturing environment
ERP knowledge with strong linkage of financial, material and supply flows is a plus
Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Excellent written communication skills.
Understanding of supply planning principles
Business acumen in process/project management
Proven track record in process improvement leadership, deep knowledge of statistical analysis and execution of hands-on lean projects in production and operations environments.
