Controller

Our client, a mid-sized, and rapidly growing international manufacturing corporation, is looking to hire a Controller for their organization. If you have prior Controllership experience in the manufacturing field, this could be a great next step for you! The company is experiencing strong growth and in need of someone that can help them to evaluate and improve upon their current controls and procedures. This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful, stable corporation, but one that can also offer continued growth and professional challenge. They work a hybrid office schedule and are offering a salary in the range of $160,000 to $180,000 plus bonus, robust benefits, etc.

Responsibilities for the Controller job include:

· You will manage day to day accounting and reporting for the company

· Heavy involvement in month/quarterly/year end close, workpapers, reconciliations, etc.

· Manage a team of 15

· Maintain a high level industry and GAAP compliance

· Strive to constantly improve processes procedures

· Liaise with and support external auditors

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA highly preferred

· 10+ years of accounting experience required

· 5+ years of management experience required

  Must come out of a manufacturing background

· Strong communication skills and ability to work well with company executives
