LHH is partnering with a Company in Western Nassau County for a direct hire Billing Opportunity. Training on site , then hybrid. Ideal Candidate must be able to multitask and to work independently and as part of a team. Salary $65-$72K.


This role entails preparation of invoices and ensuring adherence to processes and company policies. Our ideal candidate has the ability to compile data and reports, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively as they will play a major part in the success of the office. Responsibilities:


• Prepare and manage contract-based billings for AIA requisitions to ensure accurate billing and timely


collection


• Prepare progress billings, unit price and T&M billings in accordance with contract agreements


• Have experience with Construction Billing Software (Sage 300 and Textura)


• Prepare and comply with customer requirements for submission. Ex: certified payroll, lien waivers, stored


material, vendor waivers, insurance certificates, etc.


• Reconcile contracts and change orders. Review job cost reports to ensure accurate billing


• Coordinate with Project Managers and clients on all aspects of billing


• Collect accounts receivable and apply cash receipts in accordance with the contract


REQUIREMENTS - BILLER


• 1-2 years of relevant working experience a plus


• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel


• Must be able to display effective problem-solving techniques and have the ability to remain calm in a high[1]volume and demanding environment


• Experience using construction industry software a plus
