LHH is seeking an HR BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR for a contract/temporary position in Houston, TX.


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Answer 1-800 lines all related to benefits inquiries: calls will be from internal employees from field, corporate, everyone who is eligible for open enrollment


  • Manage the benefits email mailbox


  • Administer retirement, health and disability plans for active employees and retirees


  • Serve as primary contact for administration of pension and post-employment health and disability plans


  • Work as an effective advocate for escalated benefit issues including participant concerns, nonstandard pension calculations, and eligibility issues


  • Interact with auditors and legal staff to review governmental compliance of retirement and health plan practices


  • Perform periodic review of processes to ensure accurate calculation and reporting of retirement and health and welfare benefits


· Support the collection of employment and benefits eligibility information required as result of company mergers and divestitures


· Serve as liaison for the employee stock program from point of purchase to stock sell


· Serve as SME during transition of retirement and health plan administration to a third-party administrator


· Coordinator and organize wellness activities such as health fairs, flu clinics and healthier vending machine choices


QUALIFICATIONS:


· High school diploma


· Customer service-oriented


SKILLS:


· Proficient with MS Office Suite



  • Workday is a big plus, but not required


EXPERIENCE:



  • Minimum 3-4 years of Benefits support experience



EMPLOYMENT TYPE: contract/temporary (approx. 4-5 months)



COMPENSATION: $35-40/hr DOE



WORK HOURS: M-F, 8 am-5 pm — HYBRID schedule (3 days onsite & 2 days remote) — 77077 zip code

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 PER HOUR
