Salary: $28-30/hour
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Administer various employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental insurance, retirement plans, and other related offerings.
Facilitate benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations for employees, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries, providing clear and concise explanations while offering exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with external benefit providers to ensure accurate and up-to-date information, resolving any discrepancies as needed.
Coordinate with HR and payroll departments to ensure accurate deductions and contributions related to benefits programs.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to employee benefits, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
Assist in the development and implementation of employee communication strategies regarding benefits, including organizing informational sessions and creating written materials.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee benefits records and documentation.
Participate in benefits audits and compliance reporting.
Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the benefits administration function.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience (2+ years) in benefits administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
