LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our client within the legal industry. This position is direct hire and located in the Fort Lauderdale area. If you are an experienced Payroll Specialist and looking for an excellent company to join, apply today!


The pay range is $65k – 80k/yearly. Benefits: 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurance


Responsibilities:



  • Analyze, prepare, and validate payroll data.


  • Leverage payroll system to produce accurate and timely payroll.


  • Ensure employees are paid accurately and on time


  • Review reports and reconcile data for quarterly and annual payroll tax returns


  • Verify tax payments are made, and quarterly/annual returns are filed correctly


  • Support 401k, workers comp, and other audits as needed


  • Reconcile payroll related GL accounts


  • Assist Controller with special projects as needed


Qualifications



  • Multi-State Payroll experience is required


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or similar preferred


  • 3+ years of Payroll experience


  • Familiar with Payroll software, such as UltiPro, Paylocity is a plus


  • Must be highly organized, efficient and analytical

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 PER YEAR
