Must be computer/software literate and have ability to enter data into a computer system with speed and accuracy. Must be able to demonstrate time management and strong organizational skills. Process claims
Process complex, difficult, and non-routine claims for multiple plans/employers
Audit work of assigned claims examiners to ensure quality
Identify business process improvements and assist in operationalizing
Assist with training and knowledge transfer as directed
Participate in quality projects as required by management
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; and,
Minimum 3 years of claims experience in managed care, Taft-Hartley plan or a Health Organization; and
Proficiency with claims adjudication
Thorough knowledge of adjustment processing, medical terminology, CPT, ICD Codes
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word and Excel
Must be able to perform all the duties and responsibilities of Claims Examiners within the department.
