The ideal candidate will have experience processing healthcare claims in a high-volume Claims Department. Must be computer/software literate and have ability to enter data into a computer system with speed and accuracy. Must be able to demonstrate time management and strong organizational skills. Must have good phone and member service skills. Job Description



  • Process claims


  • Process complex, difficult, and non-routine claims for multiple plans/employers


  • Audit work of assigned claims examiners to ensure quality


  • Identify business process improvements and assist in operationalizing


  • Assist with training and knowledge transfer as directed


  • Participate in quality projects as required by management


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; and,


  • Minimum 3 years of claims experience in managed care, Taft-Hartley plan or a Health Organization; and


  • Proficiency with claims adjudication


  • Thorough knowledge of adjustment processing, medical terminology, CPT, ICD Codes


  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word and Excel


  • Must be able to perform all the duties and responsibilities of Claims Examiners within the department.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 PER HOUR
