We are looking to fill a Senior Accountant with a well-known software company in Dallas.The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling GL accounts, tracking and posting of accruals and prepaids, and other tasks such as identifying opportunities for improvement. This is a growing company with opportunity for advancement and offer flextime and a hybrid work schedule. When in the office they cater lunch and has a great company culture. This position pays 80K-85K.

Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant job include:

· Carry out daily accounting tasks relating to GL and full month end close

· Researching GL account variance and reporting them to management

· Handling of month-end close to include journal entries and review of P&L and balance sheets.

· Ad Hoc projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

· Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience

· Large ERP experience

· Strong fundamental accounting knowledge

· Strong Excel skills (pivots, vlookups)
