Description:


Have you seen a Bilingual Payroll Specialist with an Associate’s Degree and 2-3 years of payroll related experience? If so, please send them this way! Accounting Principals has partnered with a client that currently has a full-time role for a Payroll Specialist located in the northwest Dallas area. This company is a diverse and collaborative work environment where you’ll work closely with key members and enjoy maximizing your career with this integral role by providing valuable analysis and recommendations. Top-notch benefits are provided, 401k, 10 paid holidays, paid leave, and tons of growth opportunities! This is a direct hire opportunity and pays $50k - $55k depending on experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare hourly payroll and ensure it’s submitted on time
  • Verify checks for accuracy and prepare manual checks as needed
  • Prepare weekly reports on man-hours
  • Report monthly employee information for general ledger
  • Answer employee’s questions concerning deductions, garnishments, etc.
  • Set up new employees in the system
  • Replace employee badges
  • Maintain and troubleshoot any problems with time clocks
  • Prepare compensation history reports as needed
  • Act in the capacity of backup for AP Specialist – to be trained by AP Specialist on key position tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications/Skills:

  • 2-3 years of related experience required
  • Two-year Associates Degree Required
  • Bilingual (English – Spanish) required
  • Ability to give presentations to customers, clients, and other employees
  • Strong math skills (ratios, percentages, fractions, etc.)
  • Problem solving skills
  • High Attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
