Parker and Lynch has an opening for a Controller for our client in Charlotte, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 7 years of experience in finance or accounting to join a collaborative and fast-growing team. If you are looking for the ability to work with multiple teams and departments across the organization, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you!


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all accounting operational functions
  • Responsible for the preparation of all financial statements and ad hoc reporting in a timely and accurate manner
  • Create and maintain sufficient and effective internal controls, including those over financial reporting and cash management
  • Manage all analysis and reporting of financial statements including budgets, planning, filings, and reports
  • Create and maintain key business performance metrics
  • Present results and recommendations to management

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in accounting
  • Solid understanding of finance law and regulatory standards, specifically GAAP
  • Prior experience using QuickBooks and Sage preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to lead effectively and cultivate a culture of trust
