AlexandriaLHH has partnered with a consulting services company in northern Virginia to identify a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant! In this role, you will play a major part in timely and accurate reporting of accounting data to various types of clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage report requests and execute according to deadline.
Pull and analyze various accounting reports including, but not limited to, general ledger, expense, revenue, and budgets.
Research accounting system and uncover streamlining opportunities.
Analyze general ledger and perform reconciliations.
Review financial statements and assist with month-end close.
Review federal contracts and ensure proper billing and A/R.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
3+ years of experience with financial accounting.
Proficiency with MS Excel and ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct.
Experience working with federal contracts highly preferred.
