Accounting Principals has partnered with a company in Tulsa, OK, in search of a Staff Accountant to assist their team. In this role you will report directly to the Controller and will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks on behalf of the company. Interested candidates should have 3+ years of accounting / finance experience combined with a completed bachelor’s degree. Compensation for this temporary project ranges from $23-26/hr


Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepares state sales & use tax returns.
  • Processes journal entries and reconciles balance sheet accounts.
  • Enters accounts receivable cash receipts, accounts payable payments, account adjustments, machine and miscellaneous invoices.
  • Reconciles payroll accounts.
  • Maintains fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
  • Maintains certificates of liability.
  • Maintains sales tax certificates.
  • Assists in the preparation of the balance sheet, profit and loss statement and internal financial reports.

    • Position Requirements:

  • Completed bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration
  • 3+ years of accounting and finance experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
