HR/Payroll Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a construction company in Tempe. This company is in search of a full time HR/Payroll Clerk to join their team. This role is fully in office, Monday-Friday 630am-3pm. Pay range is between $22/hr-$25/hr DOE.

Responsibilities:


  • Process and manage employee payroll accurately and on time(300 employees weekly)
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organized.
  • Prepares and tracks employee healthcare benefits, including health insurance, life insurance, LTD, dental and the 401(k) profit sharing plan.
  • Collaborate with HR team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and general HR information.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Prepare reports and documents for internal and external purposes.

Qualifications:


  • At least 2 years experience HR and payroll administration
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus.
