Job Title: Accounting Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of an Accounting Specialist for a valued client in the legal sector. Our teams have played a significant role in supporting and advancing this organization over the past few years, making it a fantastic team to join. We are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to become part of our team. If you possess 2-3 years of accounting experience, including expertise in managing accounts payable and receivable, we encourage you to apply for this exciting position. Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred.

Responsibilities:



  • Execute accounts payable tasks, which involve verifying vendor invoices, assigning codes, and ensuring prompt payments.


  • Handle accounts receivable activities, including customer billing, collections, and reconciliations.


  • Conduct regular account reconciliations to guarantee accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.


  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.


  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.


  • Provide support for financial reporting and analysis as needed.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate and timely completion of financial tasks and projects.


  • Support the finance department with additional tasks and projects on an as-needed basis.


Skills & Qualifications:



  • Possess 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, with exposure to managing accounts payable and receivable.


  • Proficient in using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.


  • Understanding of accounting principles and procedures.


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and record-keeping.


  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.


  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.


Job Details:

This is a full-time position located at the Salem, Oregon office.


The salary range for this position is $20-25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.


Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), and paid holidays.

Benefits:



  • Paid Time Off (PTO) entitlement starts at 10 days for the first 2 years of employment and increases to 19 days by the third year.


  • In addition to the PTO, there are 7 standard holidays, and there are usually extra half-day offs around holidays.


  • The retirement plan includes a 5% employer contribution after 6 months of employment. This contribution is automatic and not dependent on a matching contribution from the employee.


  • Medical, Dental, and Vision (M/D/V) benefits are offered, with the firm covering 90% of medical premium costs for employees.


  • Parking is provided as well.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 PER HOUR
