Accounting Principals is currently looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our client in Rockville, MD. Our client is a rapidly growing and dynamic global provider of financial compliance software and is looking for a candidate with outstanding interpersonal communication, self-awareness, and a demonstrated ability and desire to improve financial processes. In this role you will be responsible for cash forecasting, expense management, vendor payments and working with the Controller to develop and carry out long-term financial goals and plans for major capital investments.


This role is 100% remote with a salary range of $65k-$90k.


Responsibilities:

  • Own multiple monthly close activities and progress in responsibility as you gain new skills
  • Lead day-to-day cash cycle operations
  • Daily cash forecasting, payments, reconciliations, and expense management
  • Budget analysis and advisement
  • Lead implementation of process enhancements relating to the revenue cycle
  • Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports on financial and operational performance

    • Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Public accounting a plus but not required
  • Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tool is required
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or Sage Intacct is preferred
