Medical Office Administrative

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Medical Office Administrative for our healthcare client in Renton, WA. This role will be 100% onsite and a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for our wonderful client whose intention is to convert to permanent employment after the contract tenure.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the medical office and ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. As a Medical Office Administrative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, handling insurance claims, and maintaining medical supplies inventory.


Responsibilities


  • Greet and check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect co-payments.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage patient inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments, consultations, and follow-up visits.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Oversee the billing and insurance claim process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Ensure that the medical office is clean and organized, including the waiting area, exam rooms, and administrative areas.
  • Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines.
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare providers as needed.

Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize throughout the workday
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, experience with EMR/EHR strongly desired
  • Understanding of healthcare documentation and medical terminology and coding preferred
  • Excellent customer service experience skills and able to create a warm, professional environment for patients and clinic staff
  • Able to productively work independently or in a team-oriented environment


Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare administrative or similar experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required, EMR/EHR experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and coding and healthcare documentation desired
  • Valid Driver’s License is required

Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 PER HOUR
