We have a partnership with an excellent company who is looking for a Director of Human resources who will carry a LARGE focus in Compensation and Benefits.

Title: Human Resource Director - Specialty in Compensation and Benefits


Start: ASAP!


Duration: Direct Hire


Location: REMOTE - Some travel. PST|CST Preferred time zones


Salary: $130-150K with negotiation BOE


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the compensation and benefits programs
  • Responsible for compliance compensation and benefits laws; such as: FLSA, SF laws, ERISA and ACA, in partnership with HR Ops
  • Refine, implement, and evangelize a companywide compensation strategy including formal grades, salary ranges, job descriptions and job evaluations
  • Assist with evaluating the sales compensation program
  • Partner with the Human Resource and Talent Acquisition team to advise and influence in compensation strategy
  • Develop training and facilitate communication for compensation plans, policies, and procedures
  • Review salary increase requests to ensure they remain within budgetary limits
  • Evaluate internal equity of compensation and total rewards program to drive a high-performing culture
  • Manage the evaluation of existing Health and Welfare programs
  • Manage day-to-day activities of all benefit/incentive programs
  • Manage vendor/broker/partner relationships
  • Compile and create information and/or presentations for senior leadership and/or Board of Directors
  • Develop, document and refine procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and work with HR leader(s) to educate teams

  • Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or other relevant focus
  • CCP or CBP would be a HUGE plus!
  • 10+ years oh Human Resource Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years managing compensation and benefits
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor and contract management skills
  • Desire to lead and drive as well as work very hands on
  • Strong knowledge of US labor law, federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, including COBRA, FMLA, EEOC and DOL/FLSA
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Intermediate MS Excel skills REQUIRED)
