Human Resource Generalist


Ajilon has partnered with an establish organization to search for an HR Generalist. The ideal candidate would be comfortable handling confrontation. This position involves a lot of difficult conversations with employees, and they would have to ensure that all operations are in compliance with current labor laws.

Responsibilities:


· Aid HR Director in employee relations projects


· Answer employee questions on HR such as compensation and benefits through phone and email


· Review and update HR policies and company policies to ensure they adhere with local laws


· Evaluate employee requests and deny those that don’t adhere to policies


· Maintain employee files


· Generate internal documents such offer letters, appointment letters, salary slips, and warning letters


· Assist with onboarding and offboarding


Skills and Qualification:


· Understanding of current Oregon Labor Laws


· Understanding of the local environment in Portland, OR


· Ability to communicate with people on all levels of the organization


· Ability to handle stressful situation and conflicts


Experience:


· 2+ years of experience in HR


· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)


Salary: Beginning at $70k per year


Location: Remote; Portland, OR
