Customer Service Representative LHH is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a contract to hire position in the Orlando, FL area. The ideal candidate will have traditional medical office experience and be available immediately. This is a full-time position and requires you to come into the office full-time. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing assistance and addressing inquiries regarding appointments, billing, insurance, and general healthcare information.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, emails, and messages, ensuring accurate and comprehensive information is provided.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers and maintaining an organized appointment calendar.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including medical staff, billing, and administration, to ensure seamless patient experiences.
  • Verify insurance coverage, explain benefits, and assist patients in understanding their financial responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Escalate complex inquiries or issues to appropriate departments while actively seeking resolutions.
  • Provide empathetic support to patients during challenging situations, demonstrating understanding and care.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by offering insights and suggestions for enhancing the patient service experience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Empathetic and patient-centered approach when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage appointments, records, and tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, electronic health records (EHR), and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
  • Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining a professional and composed demeanor.
  • Team player who can collaborate effectively within a diverse healthcare environment.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing situations and contribute to a positive, patient-focused atmosphere.
Hourly Pay: $15/hr - $17/hr Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria. Pay Details: $15.00 to $17.00 PER HOUR
