A leading player in the fragrances and cosmetics manufacturing industry is seeking a talented and skilled Business Systems Analyst to join their team in the New Jersey office.


Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to assess business requirements and processes. Align these requirements with suitable technology solutions to enhance process efficiency and accuracy.


  • Develop cost analyses, design considerations, and estimate development timelines for various projects.


  • Manage the integration of new and upgraded products, conducting unit tests and resolving application issues by developing business and system solutions.


  • Define and document system requirements. Work directly with business partners and technical staff to create use cases, technical specifications, and testing documentation.


  • Lead design and implementation efforts on large projects related to enterprise applications.


  • Provide technical support for system and software integration, as well as data migration activities.


  • Perform ongoing system administration for assigned configurable enterprise systems, including documentation, updates, and maintenance.


  • Coordinate work with IT resources and third-party vendors during software upgrades, patches, and configuration deployments.


  • May assist in developing release notes and user training materials.


  • Train end-users on new tools and functionalities of existing tools.


  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or equivalent.


  • Ten or more years of relevant experience, demonstrating proficiency in gathering functional and non-functional specifications, preparing design documentation, configuring applications, and providing system support.


  • Advanced knowledge of project management processes.


  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information effectively to colleagues, supervisors, vendors, and clients.


  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to critically evaluate results, make recommendations, and report on projects.


  • Highly organized with the ability to pay attention to details, conduct follow-up, identify resolutions to problems and conflicts, and work independently.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, etc).


  • Experience working in an ERP system, with a strong preference for NetSuite.


  • Advanced knowledge of programming languages, system analysis roles and responsibilities, and related activities.


  • Experience with Business Intelligence Reporting and Development Tools is strongly preferred.


Work Environment:



  • The role may require working in close proximity to a manufacturing environment with strong odors present.


  • The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.


  • Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 PER YEAR
