Location: Morgan Hill, CA (onsite)


Position Overview: The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and optimizing cash flow. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collections, and collaborating with internal teams to support our financial goals.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Invoicing and Billing:



    • Prepare and issue invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.


    • Ensure invoices comply with company policies and customer agreements.


  • Collections Management:



    • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up with customers on outstanding balances.


    • Negotiate payment terms and arrange payment plans when necessary.


  • Cash Application:



    • Post payments received from customers, allocating funds correctly to customer accounts.


    • Reconcile discrepancies and resolve payment issues promptly.


  • Account Reconciliation:



    • Reconcile accounts receivable records with general ledger accounts.


    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial data.


  • Customer Communication:



    • Interact professionally with customers to address inquiries, provide account information, and resolve payment disputes.


  • Reporting:



    • Generate regular reports to track accounts receivable status, aging analysis, and other key performance metrics.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.


  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist in the manufacturing industry.


  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.


  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.


  • Effective communication and negotiation skills for customer interactions.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.


  • Familiarity with accounting software and SAP systems is a plus.

Pay Details: $32.00 to $37.00 PER HOUR
