LHH has partnered with a well-respected boutique litigation and business law firm located in the Downtown Los Angeles to fill a full time Receptionist/Legal Secretary Position. Currently, we are seeking a dedicated individual to fill a unique dual-role position as a Receptionist and Secretary. This role is vital to the firm's operations, serving as the first point of contact for guests and vendors while also providing essential administrative support. Responsibilities:



  • Greet and welcome visitors with a courteous and professional demeanor.


  • Manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately and addressing basic inquiries about the firm and its services.


  • Create a welcoming atmosphere by offering refreshments and ensuring guest comfort.


  • Draft letters, pleadings, and transactional documents using Microsoft Word, ensuring they are in a draft-ready state for finalization.


  • Maintain office equipment, including reloading copier/printer paper and resolving minor issues.


  • Assist in office organization and filing, including managing client files, firm files, and reference book filing.


Qualifications:



  • Presentable, personable, and well-spoken, projecting a professional image.


  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating grace and accommodating behavior.


  • Proficient in telephone etiquette, able to answer calls with a friendly demeanor and gather necessary information.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with the ability to draft documents in a presentable format.


  • Familiarity with office machines and equipment maintenance.


  • Organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring files and office areas remain orderly.


Salary & Benefits:



  • The pay rate is estimated to be $60,000 - $70,000, and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, etc.
