Ajilon is seeking a Payroll Clerk with at least five years’ experience for Multi state company with room to grow! Head quartered Las Vegas, NV.
Position entails processing multi-state payroll, including calculation of taxes, time and deductions. Our ideal candidate has high-level Microsoft Excel experience, can utilize their problem-solving skills to improve processes, and is ready to make an immediate impact in a team-focused environment. Responsibilities:
- Payroll processing for locations across several states
- Entry of time and deductions
- Calculation of taxes and garnishments as needed
- Communication with management and internal colleagues
- Process manual checks and termination pay as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with payroll and tax regulations
- Must have experience processing multi-state payroll
- Must be very proficient in using Microsoft Excel, to include cell formulas, VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Must have experience with Paylocity software
- Utilize problem Solving skills
- Must be adaptible and flexible
- Time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
Experience:
- 5+ years’ payroll experience
Employment type:
- Temporary to hire
Compensation:
- $45,000 to $50,000 Annually depending on experience
Work Hours:
- 40 hours per week with overtine when needed
