We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client’s team as an Accountant. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Finance or Accounting and is passionate about developing a career in the field of finance and accounting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to our financial operations.


Responsibilities:


· General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries, ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded and classified.


· Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable records. Work closely with vendors and clients to address any discrepancies or issues.


· Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.


· Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of recorded transactions and resolve any discrepancies.


· Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize company expenses, ensuring they are accurately recorded and appropriately approved.


· Journal Entries: Assist in the preparation of journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and other adjusting entries as necessary.


Qualifications:


· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.


· Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.


· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.


· Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.


Work Schedule: This is a full-time position with regular office hours. After an initial training period conducted on-site, the position offers the flexibility of working remotely for two days per week.



Pay: $50-65k/yr.
