Job Duties


The payroll clerk will be required to interact with employees of CED locations as well as corporate level management both verbally and in writing. Additional functions include but are not limited to:

  • Process employee data (new hires, terminations, employee changes) in HRIS system
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Perform timely reconciliations and audits of payroll and related data
  • Assist employees with inquiries regarding payroll and time reporting
  • Maintain personnel/payroll files and other confidential records in accordance with record retention guidelines
  • Stay updated on applicable state and federal wage and hour laws
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality as it relates to sensitive personnel and financial information
  • Take initiative toward problem resolution
  • Manage and prioritize numerous tasks remaining highly organized
  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Associate’s Degree in accounting, finance, business or related discipline preferred

  • Pay: 55K
