- First and foremost, you must be a hands-on leader who is willing to roll up your sleeves and get down on the production floor with your employees.
- Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, etc.
- Ensure staffing of qualified employees by developing and managing the recruitment, interview, selection, and on-boarding processes
- Serve as a liaison between our management staff and all employees by appropriately addressing questions and helping to resolve work-related issues
- Organize and lead the team at assigned locations by communicating expectations, conducting planning meetings, monitoring work, assessing results, enforcing policies, and ensuring quality and productivity standards are being achieved
- Develop and facilitate onboarding training programs and ongoing trainings for all employees for professional development, leadership, and management skills
- Evaluate and recommend training resources to support employee development
- Organize and administer company-wide performance management program
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Management and/or Ethics, or related field is required (Master’s Degree is preferred)
- SHRM Certification is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of Human Resource experience within a manufacturing environment is required
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience leading a Human Resources Team within a manufacturing environment is required
- Must have experience with safety-related issues and reportables in a manufacturing setting
- Must have a core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR such as talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, and benefits packages
- Must possess strong leadership abilities
- Must possess the ability to understand business financials and how HR can impact them
- Must have demonstrated ability to influence and align organizational strategies to maximize talent capability and behaviors
- Must have experience in partnering with colleagues in all levels of an organization to drive priorities
