Cleveland- Collect, verify, and process employee timecards, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Calculate wages, salaries, overtime, and deductions accurately based on established guidelines and applicable regulations.
- Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
- Prepare and distribute payroll checks or facilitate direct deposits to employees in a timely manner.
- Maintain employee payroll records, including tax withholding, benefits deductions, and other relevant information.
- Respond promptly to employee inquiries related to payroll, tax forms, and earnings.
- Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate authorization.
- Code and enter invoices into the accounting system, ensuring proper account allocation and cost center assignment.
- Process and schedule payment runs, including checks, electronic funds transfers, and other payment methods.
- Reconcile supplier statements, resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding issues.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment-related inquiries.
- Minimum of Two years processing payroll
- Experience with Timekeeping and payroll systems such as Kronos and ADP are preferred.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong math skills
