Job Title: HR Generalist


Location: Cleveland, OH


Job Purpose:


The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive HR support to the organization in all areas of human resources including recruitment and selection, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, and HR policy development and implementation. The HR Generalist will work closely with all departments to ensure that HR policies and procedures are followed and that all HR matters are handled in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, reference checks, and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to employment, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees regarding HR policies and procedures, performance management, and employee relations issues.
  • Manage employee relations issues, investigate complaints and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Administer compensation and benefit programs, including payroll, health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
  • Provide support and guidance to managers on employee performance management, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and employee development plans.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on HR policies and procedures, diversity and inclusion, and other related topics.
  • Maintain HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in human resources.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR Generalist role
  • Experience with HRIS systems, payroll and benefits administration, recruitment and selection, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with employees and managers at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Pay Details: $31.25 PER HOUR
