Accounting Principals is hiring for a Contract Bookkeeper for a 4 week possibly longer opportunity located in Cleburne, TX paying $20-25 an hour depending on experience. The Bookkeeper will ultimately report to the CFO and will perform daily accounting tasks, including processing AP, AR, matching receipts with invoices, and making general ledger entries.


Responsibilities

  • Maintaining balance sheets accounts
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
  • Receive and post incoming payments assisting with preparing bank deposits
  • Work with customers to resolve issues with billing including calling on past due accounts
  • Maintains delinquent account lists and manages collection
  • Enter invoices into AP system
  • Responsible for all billing and running A/R report weekly
  • Set up new vendor and customer accounts
  • Manage all aspects of AR & AP
  • Run credit apps
  • Assist with payroll


    • Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Quickbooks experience required
  • Experience in Construction industry a plus
