Position Summary:


As a Full-Time Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all clients, guests, and employees who enter our premises. Your primary responsibilities will include answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, and maintaining a tidy and organized reception area. You will also assist with administrative tasks to support various departments and ensure the smooth operation of our office.


· Type: Temp to Hire


· Compensation: $18-20/hr


· Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5pm


· Location: Clearwater, FL. 33765


Responsibilities:


· Greet and welcome visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner.


· Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate individuals or departments.


· Provide accurate information about the company, its products/services, and office procedures.


· Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.


· Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.


· Assist in scheduling appointments and managing conference room bookings.


· Support administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.


· Collaborate with other departments to coordinate visitor arrivals and special requests.


· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company security protocols.


· Assist in managing office supplies and ordering new items as needed.


· Participate in occasional company events or meetings that may fall outside regular working hours.


Qualifications:


· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.


· Prior experience as a receptionist or in customer-facing roles is preferred.


· Strong verbal communication skills with a professional and pleasant telephone demeanor.


· Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, visitors, and colleagues.


· Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).


· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.


· Attention to detail and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.


· Familiarity with basic office equipment, such as printers, copiers, and telephone systems.


· Strong sense of punctuality and reliability.


· Commitment to maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
