LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Claims Resolution Biller for a full-time, contract to hire position in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a great opportunity with an organization who is seeking an experienced candidate to start immediately! The anticipated hourly pay rate range for this position is between $17 and $22. Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Coordinate the workflow to address outstanding medical accounts receivable, rejected/pending claims, and daily correspondence, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
  • Insurance Coordination: Facilitate necessary arrangements for medical records requests and additional information needs requested by insurance companies, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to support the claims process.
  • Insurance Interactions: Engage in daily interactions with insurance carriers via web portals, telephone, scan/fax, and skillfully compose appeals, including supporting Medical Reports with physician orders, to effectively resolve file rejections and denials.
  • Customer Relations: Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from insurance companies, patients, and providers, maintaining positive relationships and addressing any concerns or issues effectively.
  • Performance Metrics: Maintain and achieve key performance indicators set for the Billing – Claims Resolution Representative, including days in accounts receivable, net collection percentage, non-contractual write-off percentage, A/R over 120 days, and overall insurance collections for assigned ProScan sites.
  • Billing Expertise and Compliance: Utilize knowledge of billing/coding standards (CPT-4, HCPCS, LCD/LMRP, and ICD-9/10) to serve as a resource for supervisors, ProScan clients, and other staff, accurately addressing questions and issues related to billing and coding.
Experience/Requirements:
  • Billing and Claims Expertise: Possess 2 or more years of experience in Physician/Clinical billing, follow-up, and/or Insurance claims specialist roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of medical billing processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Practice Management Systems: Show competence in using GE Centricity Practice Solutions practice management system to efficiently manage billing workflows and streamline revenue cycle operations.
  • Versatility in Billing Methods: Demonstrate proficiency in both electronic and paper billing methods, ensuring effective and accurate collections of insurance claims.
  • Radiology Billing Experience: Additional experience in Radiology billing is a valuable advantage, showcasing a specialized skill set in this particular area of medical billing.
  • Knowledge of Billing Codes: Exhibit familiarity with billing and coding standards, including CPT-4, HCPCS, LCD/LMRP, and ICD-9/10, essential for precise claim submission and compliance with billing guidelines.
  • Strong Computer Skills: Possess excellent computer skills, particularly with PC operations, and a preference for Centricity (GE) software, enabling efficient data management and task execution in the billing process.
Hours:
  • M-F
  • 8-5
  • Hybrid schedule
