Legal Support Personnel


Special Counsel, in partnership with an Am Law firm in Boston, is seeking a Legal Assistant to support the Patent Prosecution team. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team with excellent resources.


Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with patent filings
  • Editing and proofreading documents
  • Managing client correspondence
  • Tracking deadlines and IP docket
  • Answering phones
  • Processing new client intake and conflict checks
  • Handling invoices
  • Scheduling and managing calendars
  • General administrative support

  • Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience supporting patent prosecution teams
  • Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and patent software platforms
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
