Payroll Accountant

Accounting Principals has a need for a Payroll Accountant in the Midtown Atlanta area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a well-established global client. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of general ledger accounting and multi state payroll processing.

Responsibilities:

Reviewing timesheets for US and international payroll

Ensure proper set up of state tax codes for each employee

Ensure accurate processing of new hires, status changes, tax updates

Perform account and bank reconciliations

Perform GL analysis and assist with ME close

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting is required

Minimum of 3-5 years payroll processing experience

Experience with Workday software is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient with Excel (pivot tables, v look up)

Employment Type:

Full-Time; Direct hire

$90K-$100K/yr, depending on experience
