A client of LHH Atlanta has added a brand new position for an HR Generalist at their manufacturing facility in the northeast Atlanta metro. The ideal candidate brings 3 years of experience and knowledge in all aspects of HR in a manufacturing setting, has a customer service oriented mindset when working with employees and plant leadership, and wants to step into a recruiting-focused HR role where they can apply the above background. This opportunity is 100% onsite, will sit on a large HR team, and will report to the site's HR Manager.


Compensation: $80k - $85k


Benefits include PTO, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401k.


Worksite: 100% onsite. Remote days allowed once a month.


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Responsible for recruitment and selection of personnel including negotiations and agreements of contractual conditions.


  • Employment of staff, personnel support and consulting.


  • Development of employee engagement initiatives as pertains to current initiatives in place and employee cultural needs


  • Lead employee appraisals in the case of performance and behavioral problems including the documentation and proposal of corrective measures as well as introduction and monitoring.


  • Development of relevant HR processes.


  • Give notices of termination of employment in consultation of superiors in consideration of legal, collective agreements and in employment contract agreed determinations.


  • Consulting of superiors in all personnel issues.


  • Organization of and participation in job fairs.


  • Implementation of measures for personnel layoffs.


  • Other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS



  • Completed degree in Business Administration with main focus on Human Resources.


  • 3 years of HR experience in all aspects of HR within manufacuting


  • Demonstrated experience and success in recruiting within HR


  • ADP Workforce Now and Workday experience


  • Customer-service oriented

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 PER YEAR
