LHH is seeking a Procurement Administrator in Alpharetta, GA. The candidate will develop and maintain professional correspondence with Suppliers by managing, verifying, and ensuring purchased products and materials meet our specifications in a timely manner for Internal and Independent customers as part of the SPS value proposition.
Essential Functions:
Send purchase orders to appropriate vendors
Monitor all POs that have been sent to vendors to ensure correct processing, on average 1400 PO per day.
Notify the customer service team on all back order notifications provided by the vendor
Gather missing information for POs
Follow up on POs that are unconfirmed
Process daily reports for confirmations
Notify the SPS pricing team when confirmations have a discrepancy
Notify the Supply chain team when items are discontinued or have part # changes
Monitor supplier performance and report issues and concerns
Analyze industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
Document with order notes all issues with regard to shipment, order processing and vendor shipping errors
Qualifications:
Consistently exhibit a positive attitude and exceptional work ethic
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
Job Type:
Hours: 10:00—6:30 with 30 min lunch
Onsite
Contract- 6 Months
Pay:
$18/hr
