LHH Launches Digital Badge Program for Career Coaches

LHH Coach Credentialing Program Makes it Easy to Find Qualified Coaches

Think about talent in a whole new way.

Turn your workforce into a true force.

Let's talk

NEW YORK, NY – December 20, 2021 – LHH, a global career solutions and talent development company, launched the LHH Coach Credentialing Program, a service that verifies the credentials of career coaches and awards digital “badges” to qualified coaches. Badges help employers and employees easily identify qualified coaches with the latest skills in areas such as career coaching, career transition and mobility and recruiting.

The LHH Coach Credentialing Program goes deeper than other digital badging programs in the market, requiring not only testing, but also observation or demonstration of skills and knowledge. To receive and retain their badges, coaches must receive consistently high quality ratings.

“Quality is everything in coaching, as people can only gain as much new knowledge as the coach has to impart,” said John Morgan, President of LHH. “With a lot of coaches out there today, it can be difficult to assess skills and credentials to identify the right fit for individual needs. LHH is seeing a big increase in demand for coaching services as workers seek to hone their skills, and we are committed to providing the best and most qualified coaches.”

Coaching is in high demand as workers increasingly focus on career development. A recent LHH and The Adecco Group study Resetting Normal: Defining a New Era of Work of 14,800 workers across 25 countries found that only 37% of non-managers feel their company is effectively investing in developing their skills. At the same time, 71% of workers cite “career development opportunities” as a top career priority moving forward.

With the LHH Coach Credentialing program, those seeking coaches can better understand the specific capabilities that coaches possess and their areas of expertise. Coaches gain the ability to market their skills and provide proof that they are certified in key areas.

As part of the LHH program, coaches must complete and pass a training program to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in areas such as coaching skills, placement tools and live training. Coaches who pass the program will become certified and earn a badge, which can be easily shared on their social media profiles with just one click to show off their skills. Badges are available for skills such as consulting, placement knowledge, goal setting, problem solving, social media and more.

The LHH program is verified through Accredible, a third-party organization that creates digital badges and uses Bitcoin Blockchain to store an incorruptible record of credentials. Whereas traditional badges can easily be faked or forged, blockchain technology ensures that each digital badge is linked only to the individual who received it.

“Now more than ever, we need workplaces that are built around coaching cultures,” said Morgan. “Companies that invest in coaching to prepare their employees for career mobility are the ones that will get ahead in the future of work.”
